Romeo Michigan - follow-up to the study, all participating children showed a significant improvement in their State.

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity or ADHD as it is commonly called is characterized by inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity, "said Mr. Romeo, Capac - based Todd Grubb, D.C."this problem must be medically diagnosed and is usually treated with a combination of psycho-therapy and prescription of médicaments.Cette study gives hope for another course of care."

The subjects of this particular study-four young males, aged 9 to 13-years-old-begins chiropractic on a basis of 3 times per week for eight weeks, and then decrease the frequency of visits to two times per week for eight weeks and, subsequently, once by week.doctors care consisted of manipulation of the spinal column, with the addition of nutritional supplements.

For chiropractic care, results have been verified with an item 15, "ADHD Monitoring System Questionnaire," which was developed and approved by experts in the field to determine the effectiveness of various methods of soins.Parents and teachers complete periodically, and their responses are compiled to show progress or lack of it.

According to the case study published

Our retrospective case series observed a continuous improvement in only five months of care [chiropractic]. Despite everything, this study provides evidence to support that chiropractic can reduce the symptoms of ADHD and can provide a complementary or alternative approaches to allopathic care care approach (i.e. drug stimulating) .the perspective of chiropractic care for patients with ADHD is not part of "all or nothing" (i.e. care results in no effect or complete remission of ADHD), but rather the symptoms of ADHD are faiblis (i.e., 'like a dimmer for lights') concomitant with the improvement of the function of the spine.

"This study represents a very preliminary level results and much more research is needed," added Dr Grubb. ""But the results should provide incentives for parents of children suffering from this problem."
